Here's how to measure correctly:
Measure close to the body, as all measurements in the table are what we call 'body measurements.' Wear only underwear and stand relaxed.
(A) Waist circumference
Place the measuring tape around the natural waistline, at the level of the belly button.
(B) Hip circumference
Place the measuring tape around the widest part of the hips.
